This place and all the people that make it possible are the reasons I moved to East Harlem. For me, Camaradas, el barrio means home and family. Much thanks to Jay, Orlando, and Raul for making this happen in the first place and love, honor, and respect to everyone that continues to make it happen.

We had a great time last night. What a fabulous suprise to find such a cool place. The food was great -compliments to the chef - todo estaba rico --the Sangria was kicking and the music was exhilerating. It was a pleasure meeting the boys and thank you for sharing the purpose and reasoning behind the architecture - true homage to your Moms - I am sure they are proud. We'll be back - see you for the Paranda...Much continued success...Cari & Edith - Hackettstown, New Jersey

Camaradas El Barrio is amazing; we need more political/cultural outlets in our communities where you can reap the benfits our Boricua/Latino cultural expression and savor the often under rated and ignored Puerto Rican cuisine.
Gracias to the visionaries/revolutionaries that have opened up this liberated zone in El Barrio...the alcapurrias are worth dying for!!

If you want to find yourself, then you should go to CAMARADAS. There, Spanish is not just a word in a book, but a way of life which you'll find in the food, the dance and the people. There, at CAMARADAS el barrio...I send you my love.
