CAMARADAS El Barrio is a worker's public house where camaraderie is built. Our bar offers a great selection of craft beers, wine, sangria and seasonal cocktails. Our culinary philosophy is to keep it simple and fresh. Our Puerto Rican pub-style menu is sure to please. Camaradas is also recognized for its world renowned DJs, live bands and gallery space where we feature local artists.

Founded and led By David Frankel, Avenida B is a classic salsa dura band committed to playing salsa for fans of Salsa and dancers. Their roots are in the Lower East Side and they have bought their brand of salsa swing to the Barrio. This is a group with an old soul, committed to unearthing and reviving the old school sound, and timeless swing, of the kind of Salsa that truly makes you want to get up and dance.

Its not just cover tunes Avenida B has a repertoire that demonstrates an attention to details, such as song speed, duration and structure. Their goal is to reconnect dancers and musicians in a meaningful way that reflects both the dancer’s experience and their love for the genre of music that we call salsa dura.
